Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mero Church, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Mero Church on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Mero Church provides a cloud-based church management platform including member management, event coordination, financial tracking, communication tools, and reporting capabilities. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for ensuring that member data entered into the platform is collected with appropriate consent.
4. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you input into Mero Church. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.
5. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected during sign-up. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy. We will provide at least 30 days notice of any price changes to existing customers.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Mero Church for any illegal purpose, to transmit harmful code, to interfere with the service, to attempt unauthorized access to other accounts, or to use the platform for bulk unsolicited communications that violate anti-spam laws.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for all paid plans. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including internet outages, natural disasters, or third-party service failures.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data. After this period, we will permanently delete your data from our systems. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mero Church shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
